On April 11 2011 Microsoft launched the Beta version of the Bing Business Portal (BBP) - http://www.bing.com/businessportal where you can add your business and claim a listing. This service has replaced the Bing Local Listing Center.
The form has also asks for the Twitter and Facebook account details, your business specialties which can be graphically represented using the slider, the Mobile website creation and the ability to generate deals and offers is also available in BBP which truly are remarkable features, you can even add photos and add additional details about your business regarding professional affiliations, year established, etc.
The listings can be claimed by phone or using a PIN that’s sent through conventional mail. The content should then go live in 48 to 72 hours.
Apart from the Listings there is the Products. Deals and the People section also.
You can manage all of your products by navigating to any product group or product in the tree to the left. Select the product group or product you wish to manage and then use the forms provided to specify any listing that they are appropriate for.
